Buffy Summers hoped to relax with her friends, but a demonic force struck Sunnydale which led to a number of deaths. Even though she disliked those who died, it was her duty to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Puzzlingly, Buffy Summers and Xander Harris appeared to kiss. The students of Sunnydale High tried to comprehend the event and its connection with the super vampires. Meanwhile, Selke walked the sewers of Sunnydale.

Mardi Gras was approaching and Buffy Summers seemed to be surprisingly obsessive about her looks, so her friends investigated. While Angel tried to discover the origins of Sunnydale's new super vampires, his was in danger.

Buffy Summers and the gang had been trying to eradicate the super-powered vampires and Slayer copies for months. Selke finally came out of her hiding place, but Buffy was not as fast as she should have been.

After Sunnydale High graduation, Buffy Summers was preparing for life without Angel in Sunnydale. Demonic forces had hoped to exploit the separation of these two powerful enemies, but Buffy and Angel were closer than such forces could imagine.

When the Scooby Gang heard of a new "boogeyman" legend, they tracked down a beast that seemed to need slaying, yet doing so turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.

Demons were gathering, as the group of undead grew in Sunnydale. Buffy Summers and her friends hoped to discover why and then stop such events. Buffy also got closer to working out the secrets of Vraka, Xerxes the Blind, and the remainder of the demon hordes. Unfortunately, she also had a term paper to write.

Buffy Summers confronted the Blood of Carthage to find out who they were and what connection they had to the demon Vraka. Spike also seemed to have a connection with the group. At the same time, Buffy was considering leaving UC Sunnydale.
