SHIRLEY HOMES AND THE CYBER THIEF
There are many private investigators like Shirley Homes in the world. Put the words ‘private investigator’ into a Google search on the internet, and you get more than 12 million hits. Private investigators are detectives. Perhaps they look for information about a person … Is that their real name? Do they really have a university degree from Harvard, USA? Perhaps the job is watching somebody … Who do they meet? What do they talk about? Perhaps a business is losing money. Why? A private investigator listens and watches, day and night, and finds an answer.
Jeff Clayton has a small electrical design company. But the company is losing business. When a company loses business, it loses money. And when a small company begins to lose money, it cannot live for very long. Jeff Clayton is a worried man. He is losing business, he thinks, because he has a cyber thief in his office.
Somebody is stealing information from the office computer, and is selling it to another company.
Jeff wants Shirley Homes to find his cyber thief. But cyber thieves are clever, and Shirley is going to need a little help from her friends …
